Family Team Shortlisted

Maxwell MacLaurin’s Family Law Team was shortlisted at this year’s prestigious Law Awards of Scotland 2008, in association with Registers of Scotland.

The team, which was one of eight firms to be shortlisted in the category, comprises Alasdair Dowcra, Karen Gailey, Alison McKee and Marisa van der Lenden.

The awards aim to recognise Scotland’s law talent and over 26 different category winners were presented at a recent gala event. Nominees are rated by key business leaders, clients and peers. This year’s judges included Bill Frame QC; Ian Truscott, QC; John Forsyth, HBOS plc; Janet Hood; Bill Scotland; John Sturrock QC; and Robert Pirrie, The WS Society.
